By now the library of supported Games for ScummVM is truly humongous!
I was wondering if perhaps someone could list a few scary games worth playing so we we could get into the Halloween-spirit a bit early this year!

Hey, thanks so much for the advice!
For now i installed:
I have no mouth and i must scream, Elvira 1 and 2 (Amiga Edition for the nicer music)
as well as Gabriel Knight 1.
Gonna try those out soon. Genuinely excited!

The Hugo's House of Horrors trilogy is one I'm particularly fond of because I enjoy them as a kid.

Re: Horror-themed Adventure Games
I know Dark Seed is particularly horror-themed. But there are others that aren't QUITE horror but certainly are tense thrillers with dark content. Like the Call of Cthulhu games. I can't speak for Shadow of the Comet, but its sequel Prisoner of Ice had a profound effect on me as a kid. Edge of my seat the whole time.
