Running Grim Fandango with the new multiple-engine code?

Post by Graxer »

With the last 2 SVN builds Grim Fandango has stopped loading for me. When I run ResidualVM a command prompt screen appears for a second then disappears. Is there something new I need to do to the configuration file to make Grim Fandango work again?

It needs a command-line parameter to tell it which game to run now, so if you start it from a command-line, it's "residual grim", instead of just "residual". I guess you could create a batch file or shortcut to do that for you.

Eventually, I guess ResidualVM will get a GUI like the one in ScummVM, that allows you to select which game to run.

I just added option in config file to allow set gameid. At [residual] section add line gameid=grim
