When I compile ScummVM I've always downloaded the source completely each time.
So I downloaded SVN Workbench earlier with Synaptic so I could set it up so I only needed to update the source each time.
A lot easier. At the same time I thought I'd add ResidualVM as I read the GUI has now been sorted. I also set it up so I could just update it each time.
With that I compiled and started ResidualVM to check the GUI and as I still have all the grim data files in a folder from the last time I checked it out it was easy to 'Add' it and have a look.
I don't know how Grim runs under Wine but it was great to see the game run so smoothly on my Debian box. I only ran into the hallway and talked to Eva though.
Checking all the thread titles I don't see any about gamepads. I noticed the option for them. Has anybody used a gamepad (with ResidualVM/Linux)? I have a Xbox360 wired pad but I've never used it with my Debian box. I have no idea if it's possible or not.
I found Grim and Monkey 4 a little easier with a gamepad back when I originally played them when they were released.
Thanks to all who are working on ResidualVM and Grim.
Gamepads, and a Thanks.
