...is it still planned for ResidualVM?
I looked through the forums and found it was a dead end discussion in 2009.
I mean - The original Grim Fandango HAS Joystick support (even with rumble). Me thinks many users still want it.
Could someone sum things up if it's planned to be implemented in the near future, or not?
Thanks.

Noone is planning to do that, as far as i know. The problem here is that to work on that you must have a joystick, which I, for instance, don't have

Maybe you should consider a donation? After all, you are getting this software for free.

Okay, i'll make a donation as soon as the folks behind ResidualVM add some PayPal-buttons to the main page, just like the ScummVM folks did.
I don't see how a donation of a $8 Joystick would get us all the joystick support, we would like to have...
If you make PayPal-Buttons i'll consider a donation, honestly.

I don't think donations are taken yet, because of the state of ResidualVM.
I remember reading a post from aquadran, but can't find it right now

Ah, so that's why my controller wasn't working. Adding pad support would be very appreciated since Joy2Key is introducing some strange behavior when it comes to running.
