Thanks, it works now but there aren't subtitles in the animations.

The numpad 2 and the pause buttons don't work.
If I press the shift and hold it down and I press the numpad 8 doesn't start run just walk.
Sometimes the character doesn't turn and suddenly stops when I press the shift when I use the numeric keyboard!

It worked and it contains that patch but now doesn't work...
I got an error massage with the Win32 (build from repository, 2002K Win32 exe file, last update: March 5, 2012, 11:21 pm) version: Unsupported version of Grim Fandango. Please download the original patch...

Do you have the patch in your gamefolder (either Data005.lab/Patch.bin or gfupd101.exe)

yes, the gfupd101.exe is in the game folder but I don't have the other two files.
BUT I COULD USE THE GAME WITH THE PREVIOUS RESIDUALVM VERSION!

Unpatched versions of Grim Fandango have been blacklisted, since the game is uncompletable on modern machines and we don't want to receive bug-reports for already patched bugs.
Are you sure that gfupd101.exe isn't corrupted? Which is the language of your GF version?

I can confirm that the subtitles do still work in a version of ResidualVM built today, so the error here is not with the program.

Alright, it works now (with the March 8, 2012, 12:04 am version)! :D

ed.: I have got english version.
ed2.: Yes, there are subtitles in the cutscenes now!
But, the numeric keyboard problems still exist!
There will be graphic mode adjustment?

You have a time machine? :P

The numpad 2 button not working should be fixed now. I could not reproduce the numpad 8 one you mentioned, though.

What do you mean?

WinXP + March8 build, hardware rendering: a) If I press and hold shift and then numpad 8 or numpad 2 I suppose Many should be running but he still walks slowly. b) If I press numpad 2, Manny goes forward but he should go backward. He goes backward with numpad 3 instead of 2. c) A small graphic glitch - when Manny stands in the elevator in front of typing Eva, part of his shadow goes through his leg. d) If Manny stands on the left side of the Don Copal's office (picture: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/403/manny1.jpg) and enter is pressed, Manny goes through the table.

But, I'm alright now...I think...
I wanted to write (March 8, 2012, 11:17 am)
the numpad 8 one you mentioned
The numpad 8 error happens only when I press the shift key to run!

There will be graphic mode adjustment?
I mean like the graphics modes in ScummVM; Normal 2X, Normal 3x, AdvMAME 2x etc.

I can't try it now, it doesn't start again! :(
I could start the game earlier but I can't do it, now!
I updated the graphic card driver (ATI) but I didn't do anything else!

Try to reinstall the ResidualVM. Also you could try to go back with Windows system restore utility if you have restore point before the ATI driver installation.
