A bit confused

Post by PurpleMoustache »

So I'm a fan of adventure games, growing up with the Humongous Entertainment games (Spy Fox and the like), but I have never played Grim Fandango.

An hour ago I decided this should change, and I put a bid on a disc on eBay for the game. I knew all about ResidualVM in advance, and after I bid, I came here looking for information on how to apply the patch, if I won the auction.

Unfortunately, the only thread, or information I can find for mac users is from 2011, and a link explaining everything has now expired.

Is there a "for dummies" guide anywhere?

Hi! What do you mean by "how to apply the patch"? Anyway here there is the reference guide to play Grim Fandango with ResidualVM: http://wiki.residualvm.org/index.php/Running_ResidualVM

Enjoy!

No, you don't need to apply any fan patch to play Grim with ResidualVM.
