Save game request

Post by Scale »

Hi guys,

Lost my savegames, was at year three.
I tried PC save games but those could not load.

Could somebody share a save game preferably near year three.

Thanks

You can go at the start of year 3 by putting 'game_devel=true' in the residualvm config file, under the [grim-win] section (or [grim-win-$language]) and, when in game, press ctrl+g and write 'lz' in the dialog that comes up.

You mean you don't have the keyboard to press ctrl+g? Then add in the config file, in the game section, 'last_set=lz.set'.
Now when starting residualvm you should be on the ship.

No, there should be a [grim-win] section. Can you post the entire config file?

The line should be game_devel_mode=true
At least that worked for me.

The information regarding the settings-file location is in the README that accompanies ResidualVM, but from memory, the file is in
/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/ResidualVM Preferences

Now, OS X 10.7 and above won't show you that folder, but you can do
CMD-SHIFT-G in finder, and then type ~/Library to get there.
