EMI no music in game

Post by PeppeWH »

Hi,
I cannot get the music working on EMI, i used the file copied directly from the original italian cd renaming the two FullMonkeyMap files correctly.
the game seems to recognize the music file but can't play because:

Code: Select all

[2014-03-21 18:14:32] WARNING: Lua_V2::DimScreen: dim: 1.000000!
[2014-03-21 18:14:32] WARNING: Cannot open a/7200.m4b, MP3 support not enabled!

How can I enable MP3 support?
P.S. Mac OS X version.

Bye!

How did you install Residualvm?
Did you use a nightly build or did you make one yourself?
If you built it yourself, you need to make sure you have the mp3 decoder (libmad, I believe) installed at configure time.

Yes, the build service did not have the MP3 library installed, so it wasn't included.

I apologize for the bump, however I'm trying the latest daily build and I have no music (other than in the cutscenes). If MP3 support was included before why is it not anymore? Am I missing something?

Did you correctly copy both FullMonkeyMap.int files as instructed on http://wiki.residualvm.org/index.php/Datafiles ?
Does the log say anything about music?
