I've been steadily playing through Grim Fandango. Saving and loading has been working exactly as it should. I get as far as one year later in Rubacavra, and suddenly attempting to use the save or load functions (be it in-game or the load button on the ResidualVM opening screen) causes ResidualVM to crash. I haven't touched any of the save files, or messed with the directory path or done anything else other than just play the game as normal. Any chance you lot know what's going on with this?
Thanks for your time.

Re: Save and Load Buttons Cause Instant Crash.
What platform?
What ResidualVM revision?
What Grim Fandango version?
There should be a log or console output somewhere, can you post it?
Did you manage to finish the game earlier?
Did you try to copy all files from your CD (might always be a corrupt data issue)?
I don't have any "buttons" to save/load?
I either click on "Load" in ResidualVM's launcher or press F1 ingame to get to the save/load menu, was that what you meant?

We do not support ResidualVM with the mouse interface mod.
In both your cases, you should be able to use the developer console to jump close to the point you were at.
