Hello,
First post here. I became familiar with ResidualVM from ScummVM. It works great with Grim Fandango. I read that there is a work-in-progress regarding Free In The Dark inside ResidualVM. I became very interested in it since FITD crashes 99% of the times whenever I try to run AITD 1 with it, both disk and CD versions. Since I'm no programmer, I can't help much with development, but I'd be glad to test it anytime. Please feel free to ask me for testing it.
