No Mouse Pointer in Monkey Island

Hi Everybody,

I finally managed to get my hands on a copy of Escape from Monkey Island and I'm having a small issue.

I'm using the Windows build created on September 4th on Windows 10. The game itself seems to run fine, however there seems to be no mouse control at all. I see no mouse cursor and hence can't do anything when given the first dialog option.

I've tried it in fullscreen and in windowed mode. I've tried it with all three graphic renderers. Nothing I do seems to get that darn mouse to show up.

I don't own Grim Fandango or Myst III so I can't tell if my issue is exclusive to Monkey Island or not.

Is there some option I am missing?

Escape from Monkey Island doesn't have mouse controls, it's all keyboard or gamepad.

Well that explains it. As I said, I just got it so I've never played it before.
