problem installing Esacape from Monkey island on PC

i read the guide to install EMI on my PC but it's not very clear to me
can you please explain how to do it exactly?
which folders should i have and which files inside it?
i keep getting error that tesidualVM cant find the game or something like it.

Paraphrasing from the documentation:
Take CD2. Copy all m4b files, the Movies directory, and the Textures directory to a new directory on your PC.
Rename Textures/FullMonkeyMap.imt to Textures/FullMonkeyMap2.imt
Take CD1. Copy all m4b files, the Movies directory, and the Textures directory to the same directory. Make sure to merge the directories. Overwrite voiceAll.m4b
Rename Textures/FullMonkeyMap.imt to Textures/FullMonkeyMap1.imt
Download the MonkeyUpdate.exe patch and put it in the same directory.
Point ResidualVM at the directory and start playing.

2. even after doing what you said it's still says : "ScummVMcould not find any game in the specified directory!"

Eh, does the error really say "ScummVM"? You need to run ResidualVM.

What is the file size of artAll.m4b? Which edition of the game is this? It is possible your game edition might be unknown or damaged.

If you know how, please also provide the MD5sum of the first 5000 bytes of that file, that is also used for game detection.

where can i get an legal copy from?
it's old and i dont know where to get it from. when it was out i had an original disc but i lost it.

Also, what platform are you playing urdu news - ary news on and which version of residualvm are you using?

I guess this is the official 0.3.1 release - EFMI is only detected in 0.4.0.git version

I doubt me or the other devs added the signature for a pirated version of the game.
