After the merger of residualvm & scummvm, will support for Grim Mouse for Grim Fandango be included? From the readme:
"Grim Mouse allows to play 'Grim Fandango' like a point-and-click adventure,
instead of the original tank-style keyboard controls.
The mod is based on the ResidualVM game engine, which means it will also run on
Mac and Linux, not only on Windows as the original game."
It was pretty experimental, but it really is nice to use.

Yeah, it would be great

And it was already implemented, so it shouldn't be difficult

last commit on 27 Feb 2016 and beeing 3369 commits behind residualvm master (which is also already deprecated) could be a small problem
and on the github page
it would help if the original author would update the branch to the last freestanding residualvm master - there are some conflicts while merging

but maybe the VM changes are not too evil and can be merged or modfied* Important note *
Please note that as the game was never meant to be played using the mouse,
Grim Mouse "heavily modifies both the game source code and the surrounding
VM" -- Neither LucasArts nor the ResidualVM team will provide support for this
mod.

Re: Grim Fandango - Grim Mouse Support?
that means - someone who knows the mod already (i do not) and is able to test the update throughout should contact the author of the mod and ask for an updateit would help if the original author would update the branch to the last freestanding residualvm master
or ask if he is able to use this github pull request which seems to do it already: https://github.com/tobiaspfaff/grim_mouse/pull/51
as stated - at least an update to the last residualvm version before the merge with the ScummVM project
