MT-32 emulation choppy in 2.2.0, not choppy in 2.3.0-git or prior versions, is a 2.2.1 in the works?

I saw in the changelog that the team recently updated mund in ScummVM 2.2.0.

MT-32 emulation is choppy and the speed is inconsistent in that version on my machine (Win 10 Pro-x64, 20H2, latest patch).

ScummVM 2.1.2 works fine, as does 2.3.0-git for 4 May, 2021.

Did I miss the 2.2.1 update? Is there a fix for 2.2.0?

I couldn't search MT-32 in the forums because it was "too common" so I apologize if I've reposted. If I have, please direct me to the correct thread.
