How customize search path for data files?

Please help with setting up the search for files, because they do not fit in the phone's memory.

What needed - the logs are saved in the phone's memory. Continuous recording will shorten the lifespan of the memory card.

Release and test version data files should not overlap. Requirement - the search for files must go unnoticed by the user, i.e. no settings need to be made.

@fedor, there is no restriction where the game files could be placed, feel free to copy them over to your external storage. On some platforms, the access to some places is restricted, like on Android, but that is not because of ScummVM.

I'm asking as Symbian port maintainer. I know where can't place files of course.
