As I am sure all the adventure fans around here know... there is a game engine called AGS (Adventure Game Studio) and a metric ton of awesome games are made in it... the thing is the AGS engine has a ton of issues with playing on modern computers. It seems that AGS would be a great addition to ScummVM. I mean it came out in 95 or something if I remember right, so even if ScummVM can not support the very latest build of AGS, there is decades of games it could support.
Anyway, is there any plans to add AGS support to ScummVM?
Are there any plans to add AGS support to ScumVM?

https://www.scummvm.org/news/20210404/ there you go (currently AGS is enabled in the daily/nightly builds but if I'm correct it should be part of the next mainline version that's in testing right now)

You're 5 months out of the loop.

That is so awesome!! The work that goes into this project is so amazing.
I think I have to wait a little longer though, I tried a few of my fav AGS games and not one of them worked : (... maybe they are pre- 2.5 or something.

Like chrisis said, you have to use the daily snapshot not the conventional download button. But even so, only AGS 2.5 games and newer will work. So if you have games that are older they won't be detected.
