Monkey Island 3 right-click?

Trying MI3 using ScummVM 2.5 . Somehow I’m not able to execute a right click with tap+tap/hold to open the action menu. It somehow works when in point and drag mode, but then the game character moves around whenever I tap somewhere on the screen, which is quite annoying.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the same issue. tap-tap+hold doens't seem to work. Wouldn't work on past build neither.

This seems to be the reverse of bug #4876. The Escape gesture is very similar to the right-mouse button click gesture, but apparently that one only works when click-and-drag mode is disabled.

Maybe there is some kind of conflict between the different gestures...

By the way, the same happens in Eye of the Beholder (DOS) as well.
