FF: Could not open compressed Audiofile

Post by PM »

Hello,

I have a Problem with sound in Feeble Files.
I have converted the smk files first with the old encode_dxa
(--adpcm) and nearly all works fine, but because of the failure in some Videos I take the new dxa encoder an re-encode the smk-files but the sound don't work and I get the Debugmessage "Could not open compressed Audiofile ..."! The Soundfiles like the created MP3-file are ok!
I try all three compress-methods mp3/flac/ogg but i get no sound for the new files!
is it possible that ScummVM have a Problem with the compressed sound in the dxafiles?

I use the actual svn 0.9 Win32 version on XP with the german 4Cd edition!

Please could someone tell me whats wrong with that files!

This may be a stupid question, but you did put the sound file where ScummVM could find it? With the new DXA encoder, you get two files for each cutscene: one for video (DXA), and one for audio (MP3, Ogg Vorbis, or FLAC).

That was the fault!
I thought the sound will be integrated in the dxa-file like in the older version!
Now it works! Thanks! :D
