I'm not sure this is going to happen… Since ScummVM 2.6.0, the project has a requirement on C++11. Although it looks like C++11 support is possible on IRIX, it probably makes its maintenance harder than it already was (it looks like there is no easy cross-compilation environment for IRIX, and the original system is hard to acquire, power-hungry and slow by today's standards).
But maybe someone on the IRIX forums would take this as a challenge and would like to show up to help
