Hallo,
the apk from
https://downloads.scummvm.org/frs/scumm ... 64-v8a.apk
and
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/dailybuild ... 728241.zip
will not install on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2019) with Android 11, even if the device is ARM64
Logcat shows the message: W/NativeHelper: Failure copying native libraries [errorCode=-113]
after reading here I installed the 32bit apk
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/657 ... by-android
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/695 ... aries-erro
which works. It is a Samsung problem or scummvm packaging? Other apks, ex: from ppsspp installs ok on the 64bit version
Install fails on Samsung Tab 10.1

Re: Install fails on Samsung Tab 10.1
It's hard to tell what's wrong.
I know that other devices also allow installation of the arm7 32bit version, but refuse to install the arm64 apk even though they feature an 64bit arm. (But those are devices like the Amazon firetv sticks, where you have to sideload ScummVM).
I don't have the Samsung Tab 10.1, but I do have an Android 11 device (a smartphone) where our arm64 apk was tested and it ran without issues.
So as of yet I don't have an idea, but it's good to know that there an issue on some devices so we can look further into it.
(The main issue though is that we're still missing dedicated Android developers).

Ok, using Aida64 it is easy to find the reason for the problem, the tablet has a 64bit Soc but only a 32bit firmware.

Interesting, thank you for looking into this and providing the explanation. I suspect something similar goes on with my (newly purchased) Amazon Fire TV Stick (although that one has a few more issues with controlling the cursor, so more work is needed there).
