Trouble making ScummVM work on ROG ally

I just down loaded the latest Win64 version of ScummVM to my ROG Ally and it would not install.
Next I followed the instructions and downloaded the Win zip file.
I unzipped it and tried running the ScummVM executable.
It runs but no joy in running any of my games that run on my PC with ScummVM.

Suggestions please.

Unless someone in the team also has a ROG Ally to test, we need more info on the issue(s).

- What is the OS running on the device? (I think it's Windows 11 but users can install their own too (?))
- Which version of ScummVM are you testing with?
- Is there any info on the ScummVM log file perinent to the issues?
- What games did you test with? Do you have those also set up in the same way on a Windows 11 PC, where they run without issues?

The ROG Ally uses Win 11.
The current version of ScummVM for down load on this site is 2.7.0
It runs fine on my Win 10 PC.
I tried BASS, Flight, and Longest Journey.

What is the exact issue with trying to run these games?

Can ScummVM detect them but they won't launch or there are issue with ScummVM detecting them when pointing it to their data folder?

Today I went back to square one intending to fully document the issues.

I downloaded the two files, the install file and the zip file.

This time when I attempted to install SCUMMVM on the ROG Ally it did a full install and it has loaded all of my games.

Go figure..... Corrupted original down loads? Operator trouble??
