Supported Device list

With the newley released 2.8.0 on the iOS app store, older iPads are not supported, such as the iPad 2,3,4 and others. Is there a technical limitation to these devices that prevents official support?

The iOS version is a culprit. We support only iOS 9 or newer.

Tested an iPad 3 on iOS 9.3.5 and am unable to download from the store. Get message that the device is unsupported. The iPad is also not listed as supported on the appstore description for ScummVM.

Also tested an iPad 4th gen on iOS 10 and cannot download as well. Get same message about it being an unsupported device.

I can download it on newer devices such as an iPhone 6 and iPad 7th gen.

Apple removed support for armv7/armv7s devices in Xcode 15.
Unfortunately Xcode 15 is required to sign the apps before uploading them to AppStore.

So only arm64 devices, which means all devices with arm64 cpu on this list https://www.innerfence.com/howto/apple- ... ction-sets are supported.
