This might seem too minor an issue to bring up, but I'm wondering about what I'm pretty sure is a bug in the age quiz for the original Leisure Suit Larry 1.
One of the questions appears to have been coded for an incorrect answer: specifically, the question about what show Bob Hope, Dinah Shore, Elvis, and the Beatles made their TV debut on. The actual correct answer should be "a. The Ed Sullivan Show." However, the game only accepts as the correct answer "b. Your Show of Shows," a show that I recently discovered wasn't even on the air when the Beatles first came to America.
I'm pretty sure this was a coding error on Sierra's part, since almost certainly Al Lowe (who presumably designed the quiz) would have known the correct answer. It appears the be the only definite error in the age quiz.
I opened a ticket on this but have not seen any responses yet. I know it's a small issue, but some players probably will notice, so I'm wondering if it would be possible to correct it.

The bug indicated is https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/15138
The correct answer or rather answer that works is noted on Al Lowe's site here and is as the user reports i.e. (b):
https://allowe.com/games/larry/tips-man ... -quiz.html
However, this question is even more problematic as the US TV debut of Dinah Shore was on The Ed _Wynn_ Show, not Ed Sullivan which is not even on the answers
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ed_Wynn_Show
Hard to know what to do with this, apart from leave it as-is or change the question selection script to skip this one out of the selection.

That seems to have been the policy for at least one other case where the copy protection was wrong: https://bugs.scummvm.org/ticket/14595ArthurWalden wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 3:31 am At this point, my preference would be for leave as is.
I can think of a few other cases where games have been sold with incomplete copy protection information, and I don't think we've done anything about those either. (Sometimes it might not even be possible, because the copy protection is integrated as part of the gameplay.)
