Kyra3 only uses digital music, so it shouldn't have any AdLib related problems ;-)
Well, I have tried AdLib, but the sound effects in the kyra games freezes up on my scummVM CE version anyway (scummVM CE 0.12).

Examples from kyra1:
-Walking W from the house one ends up at the cliff by the sea. Here the sea can be heard. This sound effect freezes and lasts until Brandon speaks when he arrives at the pool of sorrow.

-Walking into the woods a leaf falls to the ground and turns into a gem, thus making a sound effect. This sound freezes. When walking to the broken bridge speech is triggered and the frozen sound ceases.
