Nope that's not supported.

You mean for the widget parts? Yes should be working too.

Hi.
I downlaoded and put the theme in my sd (themes folder is in the root) but scummVM doesn't let me chooese it!
I tried to force the theme changing the .ini file but nothing...
I'm using the last svn build (but I tried with the official 0.13 too)

The ScummVM GUI has undergone some pretty big changes between 0.12 and 0.13, so unless the themes have been updated to the new format, they won't work. (I know very little about how the themes work myself, though.)

Whoa, someone's still interested in this? That makes me happy. :)
Gimme some time, I'll take a look at the new format and see about redoing the theme.

Edit: whoops, not quite the thread I thought this was...
still, the Wii theme was apparently based on my own Ice theme, so recreating that would still be a step in the right direction. Once that's done, maybe I'll try remaking the Wii theme.

WNivek the new STX stuff is pretty easy to follow - it won't take long to update your theme....

I was planning on doing a modern blue and ice update in next week ish but given you are the original author of ice I'll let you do that one ;)

I've just done a proof of concept in testing a dark initial update since lordhoto doesn't appear to be around much (see my thread in general discussion) and it looks a lot nicer on teh new ubuntu New Wave theme than default....

If anyone has any requests for general themes they'd like to see (to match their favourite OS desktop theme for example) feel free to PM (or preferably post in that thread)...

In roughly 2-3 weeks time I was intending to do a theme that matches the wii channel menu as much as possible... so you might like to give that a try then (it would be similar to ice given how close that matches)....

Any theme I release I will test with 0.13... and as 0.14 develops I'll keep them updated for any GUI changes (especially given GSOC is coming up with potentially some changes there).

James

Regarding LordHoto "not being around much": The most reliable and easiest way to reach team members is via email. We are very "available" that way.

Oh great :)

I was just going by his blog and stuff on his activity....

I'll send an email to him to make sure he doesn't mind me redoing his theme....

I started to migrate my 0.11 "Wii" Theme to the new Engine. One of the most important features was the bigger font for TV output. Unfortunately the new engine's restrictions appear to be even harder regarding the font size, 16 Pixel seem to be the maximum (was 17px before).

I would greatly appreciate font sizes of 20px, if technically possible.

Nice to see those planned theme renewals :)

Keep at it man, and if you can, can you give me some info about the structure of ScummVM themes, so maybe I can customize it to look better for me!

Are the bitmaps used in the theme limited to .bmp's?

Because if not one could use animated gifs aswell

...i imagine a big green "S" which is constantly pumping air, as if it's breathing ... spooky :-D

...or Bernard leaning on the big "S" doing funny stuff from time to time...heh
