Best sound settings for Mac OS X

Hi

I was just wondering what the best sound settings for Mac users running ScummVM is? I tried enabling Core Audio and mixed ADLIB/MIDI mode (I guess adlib is for preserving sound effects). I must admit that the Core Audio setting sounds better, but also kind of strange at times (may be that it's just because it doesn't sound like I'm used to). What settings are the best, in your opinion?
