Is the freeware release of Discworld no longer feasible?

Is it pretty much out of the question that Discworld I or II will be legally released as freeware?

There was quite a bit of chatter about this back in the day, but a quick search does not reveal any relevant, recent thread, so I thought I would ask anew.

I'm curious about that as well, you can however vote for the games on GOG, as well as Discworld Noir, maybe one day they will be on there, given enough support...
