Folder for games

Post by HaldorD »

Ok, i guess this has already been answered but i'm too frustrated to search anymore. The simple question is: Where do i put the folders with the game files in order for ScummVM to find them? On my SD-card, there is a ScummVM folder with the sub folder Saves. I tried putting the game folders in that ScummVM folder, but nope. I tried creating a folder called Games in the ScummVM folder, but nope. When i try to add a game in ScummVM it lists a lot of folders (busybox, cache, config, data, dev and so on) but i can't find any folder for ScummVM and i can't navigate out of there to find the SD-card. HOW do i do it!?

The list there is just the root of the filesystem of your device - there should really be an 'sdcard' there.

If there isn't a 'sdcard' entry (on a modded/hacked device?), try looking for it inside something like 'mnt'.

Otherwise try using a normal Android file manager to work out where your SD card folder is.

(We should really default to the SD card now that it's standard for devices to have them, I will put it on the TODO.)

:) Thanks for the swift reply. There sure was an sdcard folder there (which i should have managed to figure out by myself) And yes, it would be great if it defaulted to that from the beginning or perhaps that what you just said was mentioned somewhere in the Android info on "How-to"
