I'm excited about the news, but I don't really see where Kickstarter comes into it. The same was posted on adventuregamers, but NOWHERE can I see any indication this has to do with a Kickstarter project. It could be anything and to me it seems a few people are hopefully guessing.
Let's just wait the four measly days and see before we jump to anymore conclusions.
Note that I'm not saying it's NOT a kickstarter project, but from that post it could be anything, really.

Well, my post started with "I guess..."Longcat wrote:I'm excited about the news, but I don't really see where Kickstarter comes into it. I wouldn't like that either. By all means Jane Jensen should be Involved. Maybe she could work with the same developers that made Gray Matter. But since they have no rights it's bot possible.scoriae wrote:Or if your "lucky", Activision will give the rights to Telltale and you'll get a cinematic adventure you can click through in 5 minutes.
Gabriel Knight: The QTE Game
The best that could happen would be game in the style of gk1 with classic sierra interface and modern graphics. But enough of the off topic now.
It looks the campaign will be successful. Some statistics: 3,645 Backers, $320,765 pledged of $450,000 goal, 15 days to go
