Quest for Glory question

I'm trying to start a new character in QFG 1 VGA. I get to the creation screen and figured out how to name my character but I can't for the life of me allocate skill points. I'm on a Transformer Prime. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

On the Samsung s2 Pressing the screen with one finger and tapping with the other adds 5 points if available and tapping with on finger removes 5 points.
But I cant seem to give my Hero a name?

AH you are awesome thanks.

If you hold down the menu button you'll get a keyboard that you can use to name your character (make sure the cursor is on the name part of the screen)
