Help with Save/Load error message

Whenever I try to play a certain game, I get an error message that says "No valid Save/Load folder is set! Please use the 'choose save folder' menu to select one." How do I fix this?

Perhaps a stupid question, but did you try changing the "Save Path" setting? (If it only happens for that particular game, I'd look in the "Edit Game..." dialog. Otherwise, I'd look in the "Options..." dialog.)

On the other hand, I couldn't find that particular error message in ScummVM when I searched for it, so I don't know when and where it would happen.
