Does ScummVM support booter versions of AGI games?

Post by ikantspelwurdz »

To my knowledge, there are three Sierra AGI games which were originally released as booter disks -
King's Quest
King's Quest II
The Black Cauldron

All three were later ported to DOS, and those ports are much more widely distributed (and easy to run in ScummVM), but the original versions are subtly different. In particular, King's Quest I has completely different music and more sound effects, such as birds chirping outdoors, which was lost in the transition to DOS.

These booter originals work in DOSBox. Is there a way to make them work in ScummVM? The Wiki entry for AGI Booters suggests that it's possible to extract "files" from dumped disk images by using Donald Duck's Playground as an example, but I do not have that game to try as an example.
