Hi all! It has been a long time since I came here last time and my old account seems to be banned (at least that's what the web says). My problem is that I wanted to play again Simon The Sorcerer I and now I get this error:

My CD is 100% original and it worked when the game was supported several years ago. I think I'm gonna cry if I cannot play this game on ScummVM.

I could be wrong, but it looks to me that in addition to the four files you list (simon.gme, gamepc, stripped.txt and tbllist), ScummVM is also looking for a file called icon.dat. Do you have that anywhere on your CD?

Assuming "G" is the drive letter for the CD, have you tried copying all the necessary files (for a particular version/language of the game) to a single folder on your hard disk, and run it from there?djSergi wrote:Yes. It is in the root.
