I've searched for an answer to this but haven't really come up with any good solutions. I am using ScummVM 1.9 on Android.
Currently, to access the inventory in Beneath a Steel Sky, I have to:
1) open the keyboard and
2)select the arrow keys,
3)tap as close as I can to the top of the screen and
4) then repeatedly tap the up arrow to get the inventory to show.
It's a pretty involved process. Is there any way to get the inventory to pull down faster?
I've tried re-calibrating the touch screen, changing mouse scroll speed and installing touch mods. Is there a better way to access the inventory?

Maybe switch to touchpad mode? It's the mode where you move the mouse cursor by dragging (like a laptop's touchpad)

Re: Beneath a Steel Sky: Accessing Inventory on Android
Can someone provide more instructions here?
For example, I enabled the touchscreen mode, but I still can't figure out how to get the inventory to show up.
[Apologies if this is already documented somewhere]

With "touchpad" mode enabled just move the mouse cursor (arrow) to the top of the screen area. The inventory will automatically pull down.
- To examine an item you double tap on it (ie. the arrow has to be on top of it)
- To select an item to use with something else on screen, you "right click", which essentially means you do a two fingers tap gesture while the mouse arrow is on top of the item.
