CM-32L emulation

I have read some old threads and the ScummVM documentation, but it is unclear to me if the CM-32L is now fully supported via the inbuilt MUNT emulator, as opposed to the real hardware only? The Read Me only refers to the MT-32 when describing the use of ROMs.

I am deciding whether to buy a CM-32L or MT-32 on eBay, with the intention of using the real thing for my desktop machine and then emulation for my laptop, if I am able to figure out how to dump the ROMs.

The price difference for a CM-32L vs MT-32 is substantial, so I do not want to find out at the very end that the ROM files will not be recognized or work properly with ScummVM.

The version of Munt bundled with ScummVM 2.0 supports MT-32 control ROM versions 1.04, 1.05, 1.06, 1.07, BLUER, and CM-32L control ROM versions 1.00 and 1.02.
