Hello everyone,
I have a question about the game "Simon of the Sorcered II Amiga CD32".
It works under ScummVM, no problem, ScummVM detected it immediately.
Game contains speech in English with German, Italian subtitles.
I added a French patch subtitles.
But...
Only English subtitles appear !
I can not find how to enable subtitles foreign in ScummVM ?
Hotkey--------------Description
t**********************Speech or subtitles
v**********************Subtitles or Speech and subtitles
The spacebar to change language does not work!
It must be for the portage Amiga, because with ScummVM NOTHING.
I don't know how to handle it
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Simon The Sorcerer II CD32 foreign subtitles?

Re: Simon The Sorcerer II CD32 foreign subtitles?
I can't spot any detection entry for Amiga versions of Simon 2 in the AGOS engine tables. I suspect that this is being detected as a DOS variant (or was identical to one), but I don't know about the external subtitle patch files.
I would suggest that you please file this as a bug on bugs.scummvm.org against Engine: AGOS and Simon the Sorceror II

Hello Digitall,

I think, it's better for analysis.

Thanks, I didn't know there was a Amiga release also of Simon 2. I have the first one for CD32, now I know I need to search also for the second one .

It was actually fun to play, one of the better post-Commodore releases.
You could see that the coder did want to release a finished product.
Apart from missing music (MIDI is not supported, but ScummVM picks up and plays the music just fine) in the amiga exe, it was a great conversion.
I'd get the patch from the linked site too, until it's gone forever
