in ScummVM 1.9 it was possible to stretch every game to widescreen. In ScummVM 2.0 some games like Monkey Island 3 or Zak McKracken only show 4:3 no matter if Aspect Ratio Correction is unchecked or not. Is there a way to stretch every game to full widescreen without black borders like it was possible in ScummVM 1.9?

For Curse of Monkey Island, this is normal since the game is using a resolution of 640x480 pixels. For such game the aspect ratio correction does nothing since it is 4:3 to begin with (but this should be the case in ScummVM 1.9 as well). However the aspect ratio correction should still be making a difference for Zak McKracken.
With ScummVM 2.1 there will be a new stretch mode option that gives more control over how the display is stretch (there is some details in https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/pull/1189). You can use a daily build if you want to try it.
Many thanks, i tried the new build and the Option "stretch to window" brought the function back, even in Monkey Island 3.
It seems that there is something different in 1.9 and 2.0. I tried it a few minutes ago again and 1.9 definitely stretches all games, incl. Monkey Island 3 to the same "stretch to window" result when aspect Ratio correction is unchecked. 2.0 don't do that, it leaves 640x480 games untouched, no matter if aspect Ratio correction is unchecked or not.
But now, everything is good! Great work and thanks for your help!

Unless, he plays the FM-Towns version that is.

Eww why would you WANT to stretch it??
Some games might actually look better. Some 320x200 games are designed with square pixels for some reason, and a 16:10 display is a perfect match for that.
