Westwood assets - Lands of Lore translation

Are there people familiar with translation of Westwood Studios games? Or extracting and re-inserting assets including those containing the in-game texts?
I would appreciate tools that will allow me translate this game. Even without altering fonts it could be useful though Id like to alter the fonts to contain accented characters.

Lands of Lore is not that much text heavy and I've translated few titles before so if I have means to get the texts out, modify and back in that would be very promising. Please respond if you have information of any kind that could help.
