With 2.1.2 the mouse cursor laggs in all games.

I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro as well (with a 15'' non retina screen), on macOS 10.15, and I don't see any lag. Can you indicate which graphics settings you are using, and which games you tried (or at least some of them)? Also do you have the retina or non-retina version? Since there is a lot more pixels to fill on the retina model, this could be a factor.
If you can find which version is the last one that doesn't have the issue, this would be a useful information as well.
