Tim Schafer is going to create a classic point-and-click adventure game together with Ron Gilbert, and they launched a fund raising some day ago on kickstarter.
The goal was 400k $ and as of today, they almost reached 1000000 $ !!!
Adventure games are not dead!

(and adventure gamers really are a lot!!!)

Which is more than 700% of the desired goal. I keep thinking of The Producers. I put money into it. Does that make me a little old lady looking for one last thrill on the way to the cemetery?
