In light of ScummVMs support of Little Big Adventure this seemed relevant. Frederick Raynal and Didier Chanfray have announced a new studio to produce new Little Big Adventure games.

Re: More Little Big Adventure on the way
It is very unexpected but welcome news!
Eurogamer wrote that, even though development has not started yet, the new title is more likely a reboot of the series.
Not necessarily "bad" news, though yes I'd prefer a sequel. Also not necessarily "news", it could be that the LinkedIn listing is still not enough to tell, and we've yet to have an official definitive statement from the company.

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021 ... n-new-gameThe bad news, however, is that even if all goes to plan, we won't be seeing a new Little Big Adventure instalment any time soon. Development is yet to begin on the project - described as a "reboot" of the original series in a job listing for a creative director on LinkedIn - but progress is set to be charted in 2.21's newsletter for those eager to learn more.
