Virtual keyboard bug in scummvm-2.5.0-vita.vpk

fellow adventurers

i'm having a hard time using the virtual keyboard (VK) within "Eye of the Beholder" for instance,
i was already trying this in older version like 2.1.x it was working like described
and i can't say exactly when this behaviour was introduced.
so in details :

there was a workaround in order to name your character, you must proceed in two steps using the VK
first enter the name then use the bottom right check button -> the label is now filled by your char string but needs validating
re-enter the VK and inject the 'return' instruction alone before checking out to validate.

it was working but has some issue now :
whatever you want to insert, it duplicates the last character keeping the same length
for example : gravy --> yyyyy

it's now impossible to answer the built in protection system and proceed further after 1st level
but when using the VK in the ui (like naming a save), it works normally.

Now, i must say, coming from previous version, i'm so grateful we have this on the vita
the key binding option for crawling and such is icing on the cake 8) we are close to perfection

thanks to the effort of the team behind this and rsn8887 for the vita port
