Extracting VGA Monkey Island 1&2 Character Sprites?

There are various sprites extracted from MI1&2 found online but I cant find any released tools that do it
There are various Fan Mods around so I assume it is publicly known info.

There is Monkey Island Explorer for the 'Special Editions' but I want the pixel perfect Background Images and Character Sprites for the Classic VGA versions.

I can use ScummVm to get Pixel Perfect aspect ratio and then composite the images together but thats a bit more time consuming than Id like.
If anyone knows of any tools to do this I'd be most grateful.

Ah Thank you, I had seen that site but this was listed under 'The Vault' and not Software.
