All the inane chatter goes in here. If you're curious about whether we will support a game, post HERE not in General Discussion :)

Any support hope for "Gahan Wilson's The Ultimate Haunted House"?

Post by JohnnyPhantom »

Just about all the games I loved from my childhood (and still today) are supported by ScummVM. I love it!
There's only a handful of games left that are missing that I would love to see supported some day.

How likely is it that "Gahan Wilson's The Ultimate Haunted House" get's added to the list of working games someday?

Definitively not zero chance, as the game is a Macromedia Director title, an engine we actually have some support for (in particular Director v3/v4, this game is afaik v4, at least for its windows release).

In fact I’ve been able to start the game in ScummVM, although there are still quite a few rough corners.

This guy has been doing live streams, so that Haunted House is supported.

I'm new here, so much of this is beyond me.

The moralrecordings' stream are about this game NOT being supported. The streams about the process of adding support.

So, eventually, but the game is NOT SUPPORTED at the moment. The list of supported games can be found on our main website: https://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/ Any lists on our Wiki are not a reliable source.
