Inventory issue in Discworld

Hi,
I've been having an issue in discworld where I can't put some items in the luggage's inventory, seemingly at random. I've tried starting new games but the problem persists, and I also obtained the files for version 1 just for testing, and the same problem is present.

For instance, I can only put the fertiliser found behind unseen university in Rincewind's inventory. Later on, when Rincewind's inventory was full, I got another item that wouldn't go in the luggage and was effectively softlocked.

I also tried my game in dosbox, and the issue wasn't present, nor was it present in the ps1 version, so it seems to be a bug with scumm.

I've attached a save file where the fertiliser is picked up but won't go in the luggage.

I'm on windows 11 if that's relevant
