Daily Build Debian/Linux package.. missing some files ?

On my brother home i have setup a Ubuntu 22.04.2 (if i remember) in a Asus NUC VM40B.

I have download the current DailyBuild from buildbot:

Downloaded exactly that:

I have extracted on my "Home" Folder and made the "scummvm" file executable. Double click on it and nothings append.

After a lot of tentative i have finally found solution:
I have open a terminal windows and try to lauch scummvm from here:
./scummvm

And it's appears a lot of dependency missing etc etc. i don't remember but using google i have install all need dependencyes and right now ScummVm it's be executable also from Desktop.

But OMG..... what a weird graphic
All menù it's completely black........ apparently it's be missing the "Modern Theme Remastered"

Do you have a correct procedure from correctly usage and installation of this daily build ?
It's an idea to install the current bullseye package from here:
https://downloads.scummvm.org/frs/scumm ... _amd64.deb

And only after that overwrite the current whit daily build ?

First of all, the Debian build is not designed to run on Ubuntu directly.
It's built using Debian libraries versions which are not the same as Ubuntu ones.
That's why there were such problems with dependencies.

About the data, it's not missing but placed besides the binary.
As it's a debug package (not something as polished as releases ones), a minimal setup is needed.
You have to go in Global options, in the Paths tab, and set Theme path and Extras path to <install path>/data.

In the near future, this package will be replaced by an AppImage where running the package will be enough and no setup will be needed.
