Question about data files for Full Throttle

Why does the data files page tell you to remove files from the Data and Video folders for Full Throttle? My game works fine, I was just curious... What were those videos for, and why are they not needed?

afaik they are leftovers from the production process which are never seen in-game (you'd be surprised what kind of junk is sometimes still in the retail data files, heh)
