Guys, I just wondering
Is it possible to Leisure Suit Larry 1: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards VGA add voices from Larry Reloaded (remake of Larry 1) this same was with Monke Island 1 and SE. They add voices from SE to classic VGA version.
I like and more prefere VGA version.
I'm askking specialists in this case.

I haven't played Reloaded (it seems the Linux version is no longer available, since Steam stopped selling it?), but I was under the impression that the dialog doesn't really match. I was looking at a YouTube playthrough, and just in the first few minutes there were discrepancies:
Using the "zipper" icon on yourself:
VGA: Larry! The whole point of this game was to stop doing that!
Reloaded: You quickly check your fly by zipping it up and down a few times. "Zips up...zips down in an instant for easy access! Yeah, baby!"
Using the "hand" icon on the dumpster:
VGA: Willing to do anything to further tonight's goal, you dive into the dirty dumpster.
Reloaded: You rummage around in the dumpster, but you don't see anything valuable aside from some cocktail shrimp that might still be edible. [WET MUNCHING] "Mmm! That's good shrimp!"
Examining the street outside Lefty's Bar:
VGA: Isn't it funny how there's so little traffic?
Reloaded: The street continues on in both directions, but you don't see any amusing destinations within walking distance.
Examining the bar sign:
VGA: You are outside Lefty's bar. Isn't it wonderful what can be done with a little neon.
Reloaded: This sign identifies the bar as "Lefty's"...where people drink liberally.
Getting killed in the dark alley:
VGA: Larry, when are you gonna learn to stay out of these dark alleys!!
Reloaded: Larry, didn't your mother ever warn you about going into dark alleys?
I gave up at that point. The only matching dialog I had seen was for using the breath spray.

I didn't even know there was a Linux version. I have the GOG version, which runs perfectly fine with Wine. According to https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Leisu ... :_Reloadederiktorbjorn wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 7:31 pm I haven't played Reloaded (it seems the Linux version is no longer available, since Steam stopped selling it?)
the Steam version is still available at https://www.gamersgate.com/product/leis ... ff=5418682

But even if the dialogues are different, maybe there is the same number of them, e.g. their names can be done that VGA has the number 001 and we also give the name of the 001 files from the new one

Even in the parts of the playthrough that I looked at there appeared to be additional content, e.g. Larry sees a cat outside the bar, and I don't think that's in the EGA or VGA versions. Scrolling quickly through the rest, I saw at least one room I didn't recognize at all, and when the game resurrects you it looks nothing like the VGA version. Which seems fair, because the resurrection in the VGA version looks nothing like the EGA version, which looks nothing like the text adventure.
From what I've seen of leaked and re-constructed SCI source code, I don't think the text messages were manually numbered anyway. That kind of detail was probably left for the compiler to deal with. Reloaded appears to be made in Unity, so it seems unlikely that the original source code was used except maybe as a reference.

How about use A.I to generate voices for VGA version based on voices from Reloaded

Wasn't that one of the things the was a big strike over not too long ago?

Yes, and also some artists definitely showed their distaste when they found out that their voices were AI generated in a Skyrim mod. OK, the mod was explicit, but the artists were clearly concerned about the AI use, not so much about for what exactly.
