Clock and speaker icon disappearing

Hi

I have an imate jamin with windows mobile 5.0, scummvm 0.9. When I first ran scummvm and exited the clock and speaker icons disappeared - never to return. Only a hard reset restores them. I know about arisme's patch for pre 0.7. But obviously that would not work with 0.9. Any ideas?
