First of all sorry if this post has already been made but I couldnt find it. Anyway i am just curious, does anyone here believe that curse of monkey island will ever be able to run on the Sony Ericsson m600i (UIQ 3). I know it doesnt run on the psp, but it does run on certain windows pocket pcs so I was just wondering if it were a matter of tweaking the code used to implement the game or if the hardware just isnt sufficient to run the game (admittedly I am fairly naive in the working of scummvm).
Thank you in advanced
p.s. Please dont say the hardware is insufficient unless you know for certain, as I would sooner keep an optimistic view until someone in authority quashes my dreams.

I'm not the authority you're looking for (that would be AnotherGuest), but somehow I doubt most phones would have enough juice and a high-enough-resolution screen to be able to play 640x480 games such as COMI.

Thats just great Joost.
Well.. As for the PSP compared to the UIQ3. .One.. you can run the PSP in 333 Mhz mode, the mode COMI works the best in (and the UIQ3 is only at 220 mhz), and the PSP has a higher screen resolution i.e .. no not as big downscale needed (thus making the game readable), the PSP video hw is faster (as for UIQ3/M600 there are no direct accelerator modes, unless we would go for OpenGL that is). And well.
And in regards of memory. you have 18 mb free on your M600.. barely enough to run Full Throttle (320x200 game).and well. I think both the Pocket PCs and PSP has more available memory actually.
So NO go.. since systemresource are still to small to make it playable.
